Famous for its gastronomical variety, Madeiran cuisine uses regional quality products, resulting in the most varied regional, international and even gourmet menus.

Its beef espetada  (bay-leaf kebabs) served with bolo-do-caco (Bread) with garlic butter and milho frito (fried corn-flour squares), are internationally known, as are its varied fish dishes and always fresh seafood. Grilled steaks, tuna steaks, and sword fish steaks are just a few of these typical seafood delicacies. A variety of typical sweets and desserts are also available, to the delight of those who visit us.
